At the beginning of the summer, I worked on collecting research questions for a user interview script regarding breaking additive manufacturing technology. User interviews were conducted over the course of June, and beginning of July to collect data from engineers, product managers, and other leads who would be directly interacting with the technology. Previous white labeled solutions were used to inform participants visually, and also gauge what they would change about the site.
Shortly after finishing that project, I was brought on for UI/UX design for a new venture studio app prototype. During a two week design sprint, I worked on a cross-functional team to create web and mobile designs for the application. The application was meant to test applicants on basic skills vital to the job to ensure they were able to perform tasks. Basic skills like measuring and tool identification were used in conjunction with text based multiple choice questions.

Throughout the entire summer, I worked with an intern team to create and market a SBD product. My team was tasked with utilizing one of DeWalt's batteries and adding it to a product not traditionally battery powered. After much ideation, we decided to power a DeWalt wheel barrow. We worked on competitive analysis, financial predictions, market analysis, and all other scopes needed to ensure our business would succeed. I was responsible for competitive analysis, in addition to all UI/UX design. At the culmination of the internship, my team made it through the first rounds of eliminations, and was one of the top five teams
